December 2004

Dear Friends and Partners,

As you read this letter I am in the great nation of India training pastors and leaders during the day and holding a mass miracle crusade in the city of Cuddapah. This is our second mass crusade in this region of India this year. We are expecting thousands of Hindus and Muslims to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior during the event packed week we have planned.

I'll be returning to the States in time for two powerful miracle services in Northwest Iowa. Neja and I, along with our family and staff, want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year! May God bless each and everyone of you with a deeper walk with Him and the ability to express that relationship through the love you show those around you and even to those in the utter most parts of the world!

November was an incredible month for us at KLM International. After just returning from our crusade in the Congo we hit the ground running with the Miracle Life Conference that we helped to bring to Iowa. Our conference host, Dr. Kevin and Leslie McNulty, did a fantastic job! They and their staff poured out their hearts and lives into this history making event. With a world wide ministry of their own, it was quite an honor to have them here in the heartland.

Dr. TL Osborn has a ministry that has spanned over 60 years and has impacted over 85 countries. He and his wife Daisy were pioneers in mass evangelism. It is said that they have preached to more people face-to-face than anybody in history. Dr. Osborn has most likely witnessed more miracles and has seen more salvations than any person living on this planet we call earth.

What is so amazing and inspiring is that at his age, 82 years young, he is still holding mass crusades and Miracle Life Conferences all around the world. Prior to being in Iowa Dr. Osborn ministered in Thailand and in Norway. He will be ministering in the Miracle Life Conference and mass crusades in Costa Rica in December and has plans to do the same in Togo, Ghana, and Japan in 2005. WOW! What an inspiration! What an incredible testimony to the Miracle Life of God working through a man.

To have a statesman of this caliber come to Iowa was an honor and a privilege that we will never forget. Dr. TL told us several times during the conference that he has never felt called to the United States. He announced many times that he felt we didn't need him here. But that the nations of the world needed him. He made it very plain to us that he doesn't minister in the States and that God was doing something here in Iowa that would warrant Him to have Dr. TL come. I agree, with that statement. God is doing something wonderful here in Iowa and throughout the rest of the country. The church is being drawn back to its original purpose. We as a church are realizing that our destiny is to show the love of God to a lost and dying world. We have been blessed with so much. Per household, we have more than any other nation on the earth. We are starting to get it now, we have more than enough for the purpose of helping others. I believe with all my heart we are heading into a season of revival. A season of looking past our own needs, past the needs of our local body, and to the needs of the unchurched right around us. I believe that out of our local bodies and out of our own homes that soon we will be reaching the hungry, the desperate, the outcast, the sick, and the ones in bondage; not only in our own cities but reaching those in the nations of world.

God's heart is for His church. God's heart is equally for the lost. With nearly 4 billion on this planet that haven't heard the Name of Jesus we have a lot of work to do. As we reach past our own desires and needs and into the desires and needs of others we find our purpose and destiny.

As you can probably tell Dr. TL stirred something deep within me. If there was anything that needed to be reignited it's burning with a full flame right now. One of the things that impressed me the most about this man of God was his genuine love for people. He was so humble, so giving and so kind to everyone he talked to that I was changed. I will always remember how he gave of himself to everyone that approached him. Even though he ministered for nearly 5 hours each day he allowed each person that came to him to have as much time as they wanted. He was never in a hurry, he never looked the other way when somebody was waiting in the wings to speak to him. He is a man that truly expresses God's heart.

I can't say that Dr. TL Osborn has a great deal of patience with ceremony or religion. No, he has a way of cutting through all of our attempts at reaching God and bringing us nearer to the Father. On the last night of the conference in Des Moines we had a Miracle Service. Dr. TL preached the gospel with confidence and ease. He explained the simplicity of God's love for people and how through Jesus He paid the awful price to redeem us so He could become one with us. That Sunday night hundreds of people made fresh commitments to Jesus. I wept as I watched people's lives being transformed by the simple message of God's love that Dr. TL Osborn carries. I learned this week that who Dr. TL Osborn is speaks louder than what he says. I pray that my life can make the same impact on others as he has made on me. Thank you Dr. TL!
