March 2006

Dear Friends and Partners,

I am writing you this letter after a very hectic and busy day. There is so much work to do in our offices it seems sometimes we struggle to squeeze out a few hours of ministry time. I remember chuckling in Bible College when the instructor spelled ministry "W-O-R-K". Today, I suppose you could say the jokes on me.

We have hit an impasse with our planned crusade in Burkina Faso. Some of the established religious leaders have purposely dragged their feet in rallying the few churches there. We could overcome this but we cannot get around what happened last week. The government in Burkina Faso is comprised of mostly Muslims and nothing happens without their permission. The military and the local officials have pulled the plug so to speak on the crusade by refusing permission to use the land selected for the event.

After many hours of communication and sorting through different options, we have decided to postpone this event until October. In Burkina Faso, transportation is very difficult. Therefore, the crusade needs to be held on open ground and in a location accessible by foot to the majority of the people. Unfortunately, the only grounds in the city that fits these criteria are owned by either the military or the government. With the rainy season fast approaching, we had to reconsider our dates. Please keep this event in your prayers as we proceed with the planning and promotion of the history-making crusade.

As you read this letter our son, Vinnie, and I are ministering in the nation of Colombia. We will be holding several outreaches and smaller crusades in the villages and barrows. Colombia is known for extreme violence and drug trafficking so hook up with us in prayer for divine protection and for many souls to come to salvation as a result of our ministry time there.

With crusades and outreaches planned in Burkina Faso, Tobago, Togo and India this year your continued support will help us reach thousands for the Kingdom of God. You are vital to this ministry and significant to Neja and myself.

Your missionary evangelists,

Kenney & Neja Linhart

P.S. Kadence Kathleen Linhart, our fourth child, is due on April 18th. Nearly two years ago I arrived about 24 hours late for Kaleb's birth. I am sure I will never live that down. I am hoping and praying that Kadence decides to wait until after we get home to make her debut. I do not want to miss this special day in our personal lives!
