April 2006Dear Friends and Partners,Having just got home from our ministry and outreaches in Colombia we are rejoicing in the hundreds of healings, miracles and salvations. We are making plans to return to Medellín on April 11th to reach a major part of the city with an open-air crusade. We are taking advantage of the momentum produced by the miracles last week and the celebrated Holy Week. What a wonderful opportunity to reach thousands for the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep us in prayer as we partner with many local churches in the city to reach the lost! With our plans for the Burkina Faso crusade still progressing, KLM International has been quietly working in the nation of Pakistan. We have been trying to get the necessary permission to hold an open air mass crusade. Our crusade director has had to tiptoe through a virtual field of land mines when approaching the Muslim government officials. It seemed as if they would never grant us the necessary licensees and paperwork. However, almost immediately after President Bush's unprecedented visit to Pakistan things began to change. Where there was bitterness and animosity officials seemed eager to please. Just before boarding the plane for Colombia, I received the phone call that all of the permissions had been granted! THEY set the dates for May 15th though the 21st of THIS YEAR! Finally, after hundreds of years of isolation the door is open! Together we must walk through it. Although the time is short, I believe that if we come together and support this history making event that thousands upon thousands of lives will changed. WOW! We will be preaching the Gospel in an open field in the middle of a hardcore Muslim city. The city of Faisalábad, Pakistan has never had such an event. In this city of over 1 million people, there are less than 20,000 Christians. We will make a difference in this city as well as in many surrounding nations. We have already received news that Pastors and leaders are coming from as far as Egypt for the associated conference. I think it is vital that you understand that the crusades and leadership conferences are a gift to those who attend. We never charge for the conferences nor do we take up offerings at the crusades. These events are supported by you, our Friends and Partners. This crusade and leadership conference is taking place in less than 45 days! The door is open! We can not take a chance of having the government refuse the permissions by trying to postpone the crusade. The total finances needed to impact this Muslim city is $18,000. If 18 of you would designate a gift of $1,000 toward the crusade, we will have all that is needed. However, if that seems impossible for you, sow the largest seed you can to reach these precious people.
