October 2006Dear Friends and Partners,I can’t believe it’s already fall! I love it! I am sure I have told you many times but fall is my personal favorite time of the year. It may be a stretch for your imagination but this evangelist’s favorite months of the year revolve around harvest! I get engrossed in the sights and smells of fall. This time of year I long to be in the woods, wanting to experience as much of the season as possible. I hope you get to enjoy fall like I plan to. Our teams overseas are hard at work. They are rallying the local churches and pastors for the time of ministry we will invest there. Our stateside team will be heading for West Africa next month where we will minister in the nation of Burkina Faso and also in the nation of Togo. Keep us in prayer! Burkina Faso is a nation that is 95% Muslim. Over 50% of Togo’s population practices witchcraft and voodoo while 20 % hold fast to Islam. Man, that’s some tough ground! I am confident, however, that the Name of Jesus is sufficiently powerful to break any bondage, spell or curse that the people have been inflicted with. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke, and the Word of God which will set the captive free! I was recently ministering in a partner church of ours and the message that came forth was highly anointed. I expounded on the four rivers issuing from the Garden of Eden and likened them to the four rivers that should flow from the innermost part of who we are. We, as Christians, should naturally flow in the heart of God for the Nations, and we should continually flow in a river of compassion for Souls. Out of our inward man should spontaneously flow a river of Healing and we should be open to the river of Impartations from our pastors and the other ministry offices the Lord Jesus has established.
