February 2007Dear Friends and Partners,The Mass Miracle Crusade in Burkina Faso is just around the corner. It looks like after three years of faith and labor, this Muslim nation is going to open its doors to us in April. We have already hit some bumps in the road with this event, but we know from experience that your prayers make an incredible difference. When you pray, it is as if an entire army marches ahead of us and sets itself in strategic position for an upcoming battle. Time after time in nation after nation, we have witnessed first-hand the power of prayer. You make a difference! What kinds of things should you be praying? Pray that the nation of Burkina Faso opens up to the message of salvation in Christ. Pray that the Holy Spirit draws men, women, boys, and girls to the meetings. Pray that God extends His hand with signs, wonders, and notable miracles to validate the message that is preached. Pray that I will hear clearly from the Holy Spirit and that I will deliver the gospel with simplicity and clarity. In addition, pray for safe travel and that the team and I will have an extra dose of vitality so our bodies will be energized. Pray that our ambassadorship from heaven is evident to all. Pray that religious leaders and influential men in the government and economy yield their hearts and lives to Jesus during these meetings. Pray that God will equip the pastors who attend the leadership conference and that He will ignite the emerging leadership with an “I can.” attitude. Pray that these Christian leaders will be able to visualize themselves doing the work of Christ. Pray for souls and more souls. Pray that the city will never be the same again. Pray that this crusade and the leadership conferences become a mark in the history of the nation, that all will look back on these events and note this as the time when Burkina Faso became a Christian nation. Pray that individuals will say, “That is when I realized who I was in Christ Jesus.” Pray that they will understand that Christ, the hope of glory, resides in them. Pray that the finances needed to fulfill this crusade, and already planned future international events, come abundantly to KLM. Now put your faith into action. Cause your faith to come alive.
