Although God’s original intent was for us to have abundant life through an intimate relationship with Him, Adam and Eve stepped out of that relationship through a decision to disobey God. When Adam and Eve went against God's instruction, sin was introduced to the world. Ever since that time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. Our sin separates us from God and the relationship we were created to have with Him.
