Sin: we’ve all done it. We’ve all disobeyed God, even when we wanted to do the right thing. Knowing that we would have no hope of being good enough to please Him on our own, God sent His Son Jesus to pay the penalty of death for our sins. Through His life, death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ made a way for us to enter back into a relationship with God.

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
