When you do your part in confessing your sin and giving Jesus control over your life, God will do His part. After accepting Jesus as your Savior and making Him your Lord, several incredible things take place:

• God completely forgives all of your sin
• God recreates you into a new person
• God brings you back into relationship and right standing with Him
• God makes you His child
  

What the Bible Says
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
